The Cards are doing a good job stopping the run at times. If they can get something going, this could be an interesting game. Jasper goes 3 and out again and has to punt from the 16. BC gets the ball in Bulldog territory at the 44.

Jasper leads 14-0 at the half and will get the ball first in the 3rd quarter. They looked strong defensively, but the offense needs to get rolling. Jasper outgained BC 189-57, but were in no way dominant. Very competitive first half. BC is playing well and playing hard, but even being 14 down to the Dogs is a huge hill to climb.

Jasper just scored on a 49-yd. run from Jason McQueen. The Dogs leads 28-0 about halfway through the 4th quarter. Sorry I haven't been around much. I'm not feeling well, so I've been trying to rest as much as I can. It looks like we're gonna move on to next week, but BC has played very well all things considered. Will Byerly has played the game of his life today and the offense has come alive.

Pass down to the 5. 1st and Goal. 17 seconds left. Pass into the turf. 2nd down. Pass almost intercepted. Same play. Jasper was waiting on it. 3rd down. Wrap around draw... nope. Jasper holds. Time runs out. Jasper Wins!!!

Yeah...that would be good if I liked seafood. I like salmon, shrimp, and some forms of fish, but the crabs and scallops and stuff like that are just plain nasty...kinda like the Bulldogs' defense... :D

I was at the game today. I have to say I am impressed with both sides of the ball for Jasper. BC missed a few key opportunities to put points on the board on special teams & turnovers. But, they did not capitalize on them. It will take a heck of a team to beat these Bulldogs. The better team won today. I will be pulling for Region III for the next 2 weeks. Best of luck Jasper!!
