• The Cowboys have special plans in mind for two of their second-day draft picks. Free safety Pat Watkins, who stands 6-foot-5, will be used occasionally as a red-zone receiver. And receiver/return specialist Skyler Green, who lined up all over the place at LSU and was a high-school quarterback, has been told by Bill Parcells to get his arm ready before reporting to training camp.

Watkins should be used as a "gunner" on special teams. One Cowboy scout said Watkins was the best gunner that he had ever scouted.

Watch out for DE Jason Hatcher, he may become a great pick for the Cowboys. Hatcher is 6'6" 290 and has 4.7 speed! He was a great receiver in high school and started out as a TE in college. After a huge growth spurt, Hatcher was moved to DE. He is very athletic and the Cowboys could also use him as a blocker in goal line situations. New England was a team trying to get Hatcher and was very unhappy when the Cowboys drafted him in the 3rd round. Rumor has it that they were ready to select him, but Dallas beat them to the pick.

Yeah, I've heard some of those things, also. I think this draft may end up being better than last years. I think Fasano will be a star, potentially better than Whitten. Carpenter will be solid to very good for 10 years, and this Hatcher kid has big time written all over him. Plus, I think Green will make an immediate impact returning punts & KOs. This draft looks very solid with the potential to be outstanding.

Sounds like its bye bye for bledsoe!!! Thank god he holds the ball to long, and is too old to guide a team to the playoffs

Bledsoe is a good QB, I think he is going to have a great season this year. Give him the time to read the coverages and he's up there with the best of them. GO COWBOYS!

Bledsoe only blows it when he has been knocked down/sacked/pressured all game long, then he usually throws a late pick that blows the game. But, If given ample time to read and throw, he is just as good as anyone in the league currently. The Cowboys are going ALL THE WAY this year!:)
