Castleberry 4 Glen Rose 2 (Castleberry advances 1-0) It was supposed to be a 3-game series but their Thursday night game was rained out and, with more rain in the forecast, they decided on a one-game playoff on Friday and Castleberry won.

Jefferson beat Pittsburg 7-5, 17-5

The Robinson/Madisonville and West Oso/Hidalgo games I have not heard anything.

I can't imagine Perryton driving almost 300 miles to Snyder, play a game, drive back and play a 1:00 pm game in Perryton the next day.

I called Snyder High School and the information they have is:

Game 1: at Snyder 7:00pm Friday Night

Game 2 & 3 if needed

at Perryton beginning at 4:00pm Saturday afternoon.

I was told this was most current info but it could change.

The lastest info is correct. This will be a tough turn around for Perryton, but the UIL is the reason for the change from Thursday to Friday. The rules would not allow for Perryton to miss class time on Thursday. Perryton does not have school on Friday, so no class time will be missed.
