Mavs in 6. Evenly matched teams but Dallas has fresher legs.

Spurs are worn out , but they will re-group for Mavs...could take 7 games...

Spurs in 6. Dallas can't beat a defensive team like SA consistently enough to win a 7 game series. But, even if they did, at least we still have one Texas team going to the Western Conference finals, and ultimately probably winning another NBA championship.

I think the Mavs will be rusty from the layoff, and that will be the difference. Spurs in 6 or 7.
I'm torn because I am a fan of both. It's not going to hurt my feelings either way.

Mavs in a sweep! j/k The NBA wont make enough money if its only 4 games, so it'll be rigged to go at least 6. Mavs win.

I'm glad that I'm not the only person in the world that can see how corrupt the NBA has become.

Seems like the Spurs come out of the gates slow every year. Back in '02, they had problems finishing off the Sonics in the first round. In '03, it was the Suns. In '04, they waxed the Grizz in round one, but last year the Nuggets gave them more problems than you'd expect from a series that was only five games. I'm not worried about the Mavs' fresher legs, the Spurs' problems finishing off the Kings, or the the Mavs' layoff.

I try not to read too much into the outside factors, so I'm saying Spurs in 6.

The Spurs always seem to win in 6 games. They are always going to have at least one horrific game in each series (like game 4 in the Kings series)

I have my reasons for why the Spurs will take this series in six games but you probably wouldn't want to hear it would, ya...:D

it has been ever since Jordan left the Bulls. It seems like they are trying to create another great dynasty with national recognition...and they did with Kobe/Shaq/Phil...but now when your best team is in Detroit and they are lacking a top level superstar with national draw...then they are screwed. Watch for Lebron and the Cavs to at least take the Pistons to 6 games if they can keep it close in the 1st half. Ben Wallace will be in foul trouble...mark my word

The emergence of James should be enough to put Wallace in trouble. Then again Big Ben might just swat all those balls away and leave Lebron wondering what hit him?

Spurs in 5. To much defense for the Mavs and the Mavs won't be able to contain SA's offense.
