Astros beat the Card 4-3 Petitte gets the win, Berkman homered, Lidge gets his 11th save even though he gave up a hit and BB in the 9th.

I think this was the first ever the Astros beat Carpenter.

Lidge needed that. I think he gains his old form after this. He got two saves against the team that really had his number in the playoffs. I think he will be more confident after this.

Lidge leads the majors with saves (11) with a 5.74 ERA. That's a crazy stat.

come on astros pick up the pace:D looking forward to both Ranger and Astros in First Place on May 19. Hopefully both get to playoffs.
