Hey Johnny...did you get you a new hose and rake yesterday?

nope, we played our warmup game on the road, so no need for hose and rake...

you know, deep down, pancho really wants to rake and water dirt...it's all a false front with him...he loves his baseball!!!

he won't need it...........no more home games until next year............prolly has to get the budget up a little before we can afford it. ;)

I would rather get poked in the eye with a sharp stick than water dirt and rake basepaths. And Johnny is lying they still do it for practice, the dirty rakers.

wharton played a great game. the kid in center field make one of the best throw on a single to center field with a yoakum runner on second i have ever seen. it was a bullet to the plate and it was even close.the same kid had a 0-2 count with bases loaded and hit a base clearing triple to the wall in left center.
wharton is for real and yoakum will have to play one hell of a game to get the third game back to yoakum saturday.

I hear they are going down to the Corpus area to get away from the storm. I am not even heading down there b/c I doubt theyplay @ noon and am in no mood to make a trip to Corpus. Will post something when I know it.

They beat Yoakum in Sinton today.

I believe they won 6-3 and the game ended on a DP.
