Gunn going to Chicago
Former TCU quarterback Tye Gunn, who missed 25 games in his college career because of various injuries, reached a free-agent agreement with the Chicago Bears.
"I'm thrilled to be given a chance because this has been my lifelong dream," he said. "I know some teams weren't interested because of my past durability, but I hope I can show all that is behind me."
Gunn was 13-3 as a starter and opened the past three seasons as TCU's starting quarterback. He missed the final eight games of his senior season because of a dislocated throwing shoulder.
