Still no word from our Snyder buddies? Hope their all ok out there. Most of that big storm passed north of Sweetwater, but I noticed alot of standing water on my way to Abilene this morning, so we must have gotten alot of rain, even though we were just on the southern edge of the storm. Snyder may have gotten hit real hard.

I live just south of town, got a lot of rain and wind and some hail. I seemed to have survived it ok.

In the city we received heavy rain and hail up to quarter size. Nothing really bad. The worst part of the storm went across county about 10 miles north of Snyder. I was on duty last night and the NWS called us at one point to report that there was a confirmed tornado on ground approx 10 miles N of Snyder off hwy 208. I haven't heard any damage reports if there was any.

Snyder got HAMMERED last night. I just looked at a co-workers truck and it is beat to a pulp. I was expecting some contractors from Snyder today and they do not have many vehicles that don't have most of the windows busted out.

Any roofers out there?

Personally, I think God is just trying to get back at Blackie for making disparaging remarks about his favorite little town of Sweetwater. :p :D

If I were you guys, I'd run him out of town before he brings more wrath down upon your heads................................Just dont send him to Sweetwater, please!!!:evillaugh :D

it got pretty bad the largest piece of hail that i found was a little bigger than golf ball size and that was about 20 mins afterwards so it prolly had melted down a little bit.....my truck got some minor hail damage

I saw a car this morning that couldn't have been damaged any worse if you had taken a sledge hammer after it.

NWS called and told us to be ready for a repeat of last night. Crap just got a report of golf ball sized hail at Big Country Chevrolet. This weather is crazy.

Man, I drove down 35th street this p.m., the north side of the street looked like a war zone.

good grief. its absolutely insane down there! Tornado warnings are everywhere. We missed out on the tornado stuff, but there was quite a bit of the hail and stuff. There are tons of rainouts, there could be some interesting developments with one game playoffs tomorrow. everyone stay safe down there.
