Everman vs. Forney

It's a shame the state championship game is going to be played in the second round of the playoffs. What a matchup! That Blanton kid is unbelievable. And Everman...They beat Waxahachie (ranked 8th in 4A) which put a huge scare in number 1 ranked Ennis. If I were a betting man, I'd pick Everman. I think they have more play makers than Forney and enough team speed to contain Blanton at least a little bit.

Well Everman-Forney should be great but we are gonna have our hands full with Gainesville in Rd 1!!!

State championship in the second round. are you saying that no other team has a chance and that all should concede the championship to Forney and Everman. Don't forget some other teams in the state including some excellent undefeated teams in the south. You just might be surprised.

I think Wylie has a chance of upsetting either of these teams. They have to get that far first, and I'm not looking ahead, but to say that the State championship game is in the second round, that's STUPID! We'll just have to wait and see.

Backer, I agree. Forney and Everman are the two best teams in the state. Everman will win, which will put them in the drivers seat for the state championship. There are some good teams out there who might give em a scare, but it wont be anything more than that.

everman will win no doubt...good game for only a half?? Everman is a good team and may very well win this game IF it happens, but calling a blowout is insane..it will be a tight one....count on that!!! youve obviously never seen the Rabbits play.

If I can remember correctly, everyone thought Everman was gonna win state last year, and they got beat by Wylie. Hmmmm. So don't go thinking they are big and bad yet. They are gonna have to earn that. It's gonna be a long hard road to state for them, if they even make it. Gonna be a tough game against Forney. They gotta get through that one first. Don't go looking ahead to soon, that'll get you beat fast.

Trust me downlowers..Everman isn't looking ahead we are gonna have a TOUGH road to win it all..maybe the toughest out of any team around..Gainesville Rd 1..Forney likely Rd 2...Lindale Rd 3, and that is just the Region 2!

I think it will be a great game. We played Evermanin game 10 and they have alot of depth in there backfield.

Gonna watch Everman-Gainesville Friday..not many Saturday night games to go to...and I gotta work Sat afternoon so I can't catch any afternoon games

The closest team to Everman and Forney in D1 is Wylie. However, I don't think they can beat Everman or Forney. San Antonio HS FB Fan said don't forget the undefeated teams in the south. The reason they're undefeated is because there isn't much competition in the south. When they start playing teams from east Texas, they will see what competition is. As for Everman and Forney being the two best teams in the state in 3A, I will have to argue with that. They are both good teams, but some D2 teams could give them a run for their money. Newton, Rice, Sealy, and Sinton just to name a few.

I like Everman from Region I & II, but I think whoever represents Region III & IV will win State, just like last year. Newton will win State in Div. II, they have a unique combination of both talent and excellent Coaching.....Remember everyone is entitled to they're opinion-it doesn't make us enemies.
