11 3rd place teams advanced over the weekend to the Area round! :clap: They are by region:

Region I: Snyder, Sanger, Hillsboro and Bridgeport
Region II: Bonham
Region III: Sealy, Lorena, Giddings, Rusk & Huffman-Hargrave
Region IV: South San Antonio West

All joking aside...their new coach has really turned things around for this program and I'm anxious to see them play. Of course, I'm rooting for the Sinton Lady Pirates to emerge victorious over those pesky bears!!! :cheerl:

Rockdale won yesterday over Lorena 5-1 and play again today at 5(if the field dries up from the rain) and 30 minutes after that one if needed.

Looks like Rockdale and Lorena are going to play at Caldwell at 6:30. I believe Giddings and Hutto are going to play there too, but a lot earlier.

Giddings plays Robinson at 3 pm from what the lady told us from Robinson last night. We'll play at 6:30 i'm assuming. The field here in Rockdale is way to wet from what they tell me. You going to try to make these games 18?

Just heard that the Yoakum/Liberty Hill (softball) series will be played here in Sinton! :eek: Too much damage wherever they were suppossed to play today.

I want to, but I promised another coach that I would go and scout for them, but now looks like I'm going to host a playoff game here. Just waiting for a final confirmation (Poth vs. Lexington).
