I just got in from Camp Butman and all I know is Skye won the 100m (da) and Sweetwater got 2nd in the 4X100. No times to report though.

Maybe we will get more info soon (Soon as I get up in the morning!!)

I don't think tracks that exciting. Put some pads on them and make Track Full Contact. Then maybe when someone survives the 800 m relay I'll say "fair play".

Gotta says congratulations to the Monahans Loboes and Lady Loboes headed to state.
Chesea Cartwright, won the 100 hurdles with a time of 14.49 seconds.
She is also a member of the 400 and 800 meter relay teams that are headed to Austin. Crystal Madrid, Amanda Hernandez and Jordan Latham are the other members of the relay teams. The team won the 400 with a time 49.87 and got second in the 800 with a time of 1:44.45.
For the boys, Stephen Richardson won the shot put with a throw of 51-8.5 feet. And Chris Collins won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:00.2. WAY TO GO!!! Good luck to all of you in Austin, and to everyone representing Region 1 at State.

:clap: :clap: The best thing about that race was that Sweetwater was in 5th place going into the last leg,when Skye took the handoff ,Wylie, Gainesville,West and either Sanger or Little Elm were all out in front ,and all of a sudden here comes Skye from the back of the pack to almost take it all, It took the officials 22mins.to determine who was the winner,one amazing performance if I have to say so myself.
