Man, I cant win tonight. Astros lose 5-4 to the Reds, and the Texans blow the draft. Anyone else having a rough night, or is it just me?

Bad night for a Houston fan.:(

He's ok, but they could have done a LOT better. Its a bad first pick. They could have traded down and gotten more.

Yeah dude its a great pick. That is exactly what the Texans need is a de. HA, you must be crazy. Not only could they just have simply taken the best player in the draft but they could have taken advantage of the pick and trade it.

They don't need the best player in the draft....you guys forget the fact that football is a team sport. They can Have Vince, or Reggie, or Gayle Sayers....doesn't matter if their defense is retarted and their O-Line is about the same level of an 8th grade team.

Maybe if Clark Kent was in the draft then I would be mad the were drafting a position they needed.

14 sacks, he's quick, he's good at getting by the line. He's a good pick.

If they didnt want Bush they could have traded the #1 pick down a few spots and still ended up with Williams and another pick in the draft. If not Williams at least Dbrick. Cause you know that NYJets and the Titans are gonna take a QB.

And they were all good enough to help the Texans to the 31st ranked defense!

Well, both teams NEED a QB, but who knows at this point. The Texans just screwed up Kiper's "daggone" top ten.

Prior to tonights move there had been a lot of talk that the Jets were not taking a QB. I guess tommorrow we'll find out!
