paris ... is really good. 17 years old ... to be able to step up to that kind of pressure is amazing. i'm around singers all day because of my major, and i know she can hang with most of the vocal performance majors here ... she is very good. probably won't win, but will get a contract out of it.

Just by listening to the judges, they very seldom have anything great to say about any of the girls.

I really think they are pushing for a male winner this year.

This is the 5th season of American Idol, and Ruben Studdard is the only male winner so far (even though I STILL think it should have been Clay Aiken......oh well, he got the last laugh anyway!!):p

Year in and year out, Paula ALWAYS has much more praise for the guys over the gals. Sometimes it makes me wonder about those Corey Clark allegations...:thinking:
