...print one out and fill it out as the info comes in.

Printable Playoff Bracket ! (http://www.texashighschoolbaseballonline.com/index.cfm)
Go down a little bit and you will see that Texas High School Baseball Online has a bracket for each classification. I like this one because it prints out on one page. But the print is real small.

Printable Playoff Bracket 2 (http://www.uil.utexas.edu/athletics/brackets/baseball/index.html)
This comes from the UIL website. Bigger print but takes two pages.

Here is the info I have on who has secured one of the seeds.
W-Winner or #1 Seed in the district
R-Runnerup or #2 Seed in the district
T-Third or #3 Seed in the district

Some of the districts are not settled yet. They have games Friday or seeding playoff games are scheduled. And there are a few of the districts that I do not have all the information. But here is what I do know:

1-3A – W- Perryton R- Canyon T - Borger
2-3A – W- Levelland R- Lubbock Cooper T - Littlefield
3-3A – W- Presidio R- Monahans T - Midland Greenwood

9-3A – W- Van Alstyne R- Farmersville T - Bonham
10-3A – W- Kennedale R- Ferris T - Dallas Madison
11-3A – W- Commerce R- Emory Rains T – Mt. Vernon
12-3A – W- Crandall R- Kemp T - Kaufman
13-3A – W- Gladewater R- Pittsburg T - Gilmer
14-3A – W- Texarkana Liberty-Eylau R- Texarkana Pleasant Grove T - Jefferson
15-3A – W- Lindale R- Van T - Bullard

21-3A – W- Lufkin Hudson R- Pollok Central T - Rusk
22-3A – W- Silsbee R- Jasper T - Kirbyville
23-3A – W- Huffman Hargrave R- Barbers Hill T - Splendora
24-3A – W- Bridge City R- Hardin-Jefferson T – Hamshire-Fannett
25-3A – W- Columbia R- Sweeny T - Wharton
26-3A – W- Halletsville R- Yoakum T - Gonzales
27-3A – W- Liberty Hill R- Wimberly T - Bandera

We do know that 1st and 2nd in 4-3 will be Wylie and Snyder...just waiting to determine the order

Help me out on this one. My understanding is that if Halletsville loses to Edna on Friday (which is not likely) and Yoakum beats Gonzales then they both end up 8-2 and will have to have a playoff game to determine the #1 seed since they split their games between them.

Quite a few districts are like that. They know who's in...it just hasn't been determined who will be 1st or 2nd or 3rd.

It looks like 4-3A will have 2 playoff games to decide who is
#'s 1-3

Snyder and Wylie should win tomorrow night and there will be a 1 game playoff Monday night to determine district champ.

If Wylie defeats Clyde friday night 3rd place will be decided by a 1 game playoff between Clyde and Sweetwater.

23-3A

Will be

1.) Huffman
2.) Barbers Hill
3.) Cleveland

Its possible that Cleveland could end up tied for third with Tarkington, but Cleveland should advance due to Cleveland beating Tarkington twice in district.

RBARKER,

I believe the standings are:

Huffman 9-0
Barbers Hill 7-2
Cleveland 4-5
Splendora 3-6
Tarkington 3-6
Liberty 1-8

You are right that Cleveland has beat Tarkington twice. But, if Splendora beats Tarkington--which could happen--and Cleveland loses to Huffman--which is likely--then Splendora & Cleveland would be tied at 4-6 and Splendora has beat Cleveland twice, therefore making Splendora the #3 seed.

This is true, if Yoakum wouldn't have lossed to Cuero 2-1, they would be tied right now!

GreenMonster you are funny! It's all about knowing where to go to get the info. For example--District 23-3A. Barbers Hill has this website http://eteamz.active.com/bheagles/.

Scroll down that page until you see District Baseball Standings and Results and click on that. You will see the current standings and the scores of all games played in District 23-3A this year. They update it pretty quick after each game.

It's taken me 4 months but I have a whole Excel spreadsheet of sites similiar to this. Some do a great job of keeping things current and some don't.

Our district has had some crazy tie-breaker rules in the past..but you are probably right that heads-up would determine the 3rd spot.

We have everything except the #2 & #3 seeds from 9-3A (Bonham/Farmersville) and 17-3A (Lorena/Waco Robinson). Anybody got some info on these?

UIL website is starting to fill in their bracket but aren't putting in any game times or locations yet.

UIL Website has Waco Robinson as the#2 seed and Lorena as the #3 seed so Robinson obviously won their playoff seeding game last night. UIL has about 3/4 of the bracket filled out now and even has times and location on 4 games. I'm sure it will be completed as coaches turn their stuff in.

I saw where "justlikesports" from Monahans said they would be playing Clyde, so I am assuming Greenwood is playing Snyder.

GWOOD...do you have a time/date for that game(s)?

Not yet. Probably won't know anything until the boys get out of practice. Could get a Booster Club email before then but I will let you know.

Rumors were that San Angelo would be the site.

This is my last post on this thread. UIL website has 2nd place in 9-3A to Farmersville and 3rd place to Bonham. That completes all the #1,#2, and #3 seeds for 3A.

UIL website still has a few seeds they have not filled in yet and still only has the location and times for 4 games. My guess is that they will have that filled out by late tonight. I know that yesterday was the deadline for turning that information in.
