and I saw the picture of the San Antonio Spurs on the cover of Wheaties!! :) They were there because they won the 2003 NBA championship by beating the Nets!

HOW ABOUT THEM SPURS! BEST NBA SERIES WE EVER HAD!!

I think you'd better keep spreading the word. It was the lowest-rated finals since 1981 when Houston played Boston. A lot of people probably still are not aware of this.

Yah... I think the problem is that both of the finals you mentioned happened in Texas...

Texas has one of the biggest sports bar markets in the world...

I think most of us fans were watching the Spurs kick some arse and getting drunk at the same time watching the same TV's...
