i dont have a problem with it. the records these days are being broken left and right and seem meaningless. nothing is sacred anymore. it makes me appreciate what Maris did.

Without the drugs he probably wouldn't have hit 425 home runs by now. Many would be long fly ball outs cleared the fence because he is a cheat.

His knee seems to be in bad shape. How much longer does he play? I have a feeling he is sticking around long enough to pass Ruth. I say he hits # 716 and retires.

For the integrity of the game I wish he would do no more than tie Ruth. I hope you are right and he doesn't pass Aaron.
