the region I individual tennis tournament starts tomorrow out in Odessa ... goodluck to everyone playing.

I'm not sure of all the seeds but I know Wylie has #1 and #2 girls doubles, #1 and #3 girls singles ... #4 mixed ... vernon had #1 and #3 mixed. canyon has #2 girls singles ... not sure who else.

ALL wylie players advanced to the semis ... this includes:
girls #1 and #2 singles
girls #1 and #2 doubles
#1 mixed doubles

not bad at all ... good luck in the morning. best matchup of the tourney should be Brooke and Berkley playing in girls singles semifinal action. good luck to all.

Vernon #1 defeated Wylie 6-2, 6-4

Vernon #2 defeated Snyder 6-3, 6-4

Girls Semis

Dennis, Wylie defeated Peeples, Canyon. I believe score was like 6-3, 6-4. Not for sure.

Girls Finals

Briggs, (Wylie) is playing Dennis, (Wylie) as we speak.

briggs is winning the girls final, won the first and on serve in the second set ...

mcclarty/williams won girls doubles, fourth region championship for mcclarty

wylie #2 girls doubles got 2nd but might be a playback

wylie and snyder mixed playing right now for 3rd ... possibility of a playback there

luke hawk won boys singles easily

wow...surprised Vargas didn't tank the final to get both teams to state. If Wylie wins this will be lowest # of entries that Vernon has ever sent to state. Did they get a boys doubles team to state?

i'm not sure if vernon has a boys doubles going to state or not ... i dont think so, but i might be wrong ...

i think their lowest number ever to take to state was one boys doubles my senior year ... might be wrong, but i think so ... they might have had a girl in there
