TEXAS HIGH'S RYAN MALLETT TO COMMIT TO MICHIGAN TONIGHT...

Texas High quarterback to announce intentions on KCMC-Radio in Texarkana.

The 6-7, 235 blue-chip recruit also considered Florida State, Alabama, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. The Michigan coaches were at Texas High on Monday when the spring evaluation period opened up.

Not really any team for him to attend here. Texas is stacked at young QB's
A&M is set on McGee being next years heisman
and he realizes their is no NFL future if he attends Tech.

exactly....where else would Mallett go?? He's too big time for Baylor or TCU....I thought he may land at Arkansas..

Arkansas just signed Mitch Mustain (sounds like a bad aftershave name btw) who was considered to be the #1 QB in this last draft class. I guess he didn't want to sit on the bench.

I wish him the best unless he has to face Texas. Our scholarships were about full anyway and we have signed several qbs but I think he was leaning toward Michigan all the time.
