The team title race is still very close and the weather is wrecking havok on them being able to finish it. They may have to wait another day. I will post when results are final or updated.

They did get to finish Round 2 but I don't know if they are going to get to finish Round 3 this afternoon due to the weather. It is very close between the top 4 teams and anything can happen. Oklahoma is in first place, followed by Texas, then Texas A&M and Texas Tech.

The two biggest surprises of the tournament is that after two rounds No. 2 ranked Oklahoma State is in 5th place and No. 10 ranked Baylor is in 8th place. It goes to show in golf you never know when you are going to have a bad day.

I believe they're playing at Southern Hills in Tulsa, which has hosted the US Open and PGA Championship in the past.

The weather forecast this afternoon for the final round was supposed to just be cloudy but you know how Oklahoma weather is. I hope they get to finish it today.

I used to live about 3 or 4 miles away from that golf course. When they had the US Open the whole area was crazy. Thats all you could read about in the Tulsa World.
And not all the women in Oklahoma are ugly! I dated some that very good looking!

Hopefully the #6 ranked Aggies can make a run tommorrow.

KL3 they may be finishing up today. The final round was supposed to start today from 1 to 2:30 this afternoon and they may just be waiting for everyone to finish so they can post the final results.

It is over and Oklahoma hangs on to first place while Texas gets second place and Texas A&M gets third place. Texas Tech and Oklahoma State tied for 4th and 5th place and Nebraska got 6th place while Baylor got seventh place. The biggest surprises were that top ten ranked Oklahoma State and Baylor finished so low but that is golf I guess. Sometimes things don't work out.

Since UT got a higher ranking than the Aggies this gives them the SFLSS point and Texas cinches the 2005 - 06 competition with 10.5 points while the Aggies trail with 5 points. Way to go UT!!
