Former Sinton native Whitney Lewis,who played his high school career at St.Bonaventure High School in California is rated as one of the top ten incoming college freshmen this year.He will be playin for USC.One can only imagine what the last four years woulda been like with that caliber player on the roster for Sinton.

He and his family left Sinton in 1987 so that means he was very young when he left.

I managed to answer my own first question. He's listed as the #11 top recruit in the country on ESPN. He's shown to be a wide receiver with 4.35 speed. Man, that would have been an AWESOME combo with Alaniz!

Hey guys, believe it or not another one that got away is Reggie Bush (the same one mentioned in the article). Reggie's mother graduated from Sinton High School in 1983. Her family still lives in Sinton and she come to visit on holidays. They live across the street from one of my buddies. Can you imagine what it would have been like with Reggie, Marcus, and Julian in the backfield and Whitney at receiver. (Along with all the rest of the Pirates.)

Wow, just read the article in the Caller. This kid filled in at RB his senior year and posted 1,059 yds rushing and a bunch of receptions, totalled 39 touchdowns for the year.
