Terrence Toliver participated in the Nike combine over the weekend at Texas A&M. His time in the 40 was 4.43. He caught everything thrown his way and there wasn't a d-back there who could cover him. Rivals.com has him ranked as one of the best wide outs in the country. Congratulations to Terrence.

Here is the write up on ESPN.com about him...

Scouts Grade: 84
Considering: Louisiana State , Notre Dame , Texas , Texas A&M , Texas Tech
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Evaluation: Tolliver is not only a monster of a receiver, but he is a excellent overall athlete with a supreme blend of size, speed, toughness and acceleration. Few players who possess his height have his movement skills. What is so surprising is what an impact safety he is on defense. If he doesn't remain at wide receiver, he could be an excellent safety/outside linebacker prospect. He is physical, tough and is a big playmaker. He tends to build speed as he goes but does have good top-end speed for his size. He has long arms and impressive leaping ability. He comes down with a lot of jump balls and is a true threat on fade routes and in the red zone. His size, wingspan and leaping ability make him a potential mismatch versus smaller defensive backs in man coverage. He is a savvy route runner. Not overly explosive, but smooth as a route runner. He will do a great job of finding soft spots in zone. He isn?t afraid to go over the middle and is excellent at catching passes thrown outside of his frame. His hands are very reliable. He has big hands and good concentration. Will pluck the ball on the run and also shows the consistent ability to make the tough catch in traffic. He adjusts well to the deep ball and can catch over his shoulder. He has good sideline awareness and is a tough runner after the catch. He shows good vision and some quickness as a runner. He lacks explosive speed but is shifty and has better yards-after-catch production than most players like him. However, he is very lean. Needs to add bulk and upper body strength to help fight off press coverage. Lacks great initial burst off the line and is probably not what you would call a quick twitch athlete. Overall, Tolliver is flat out productive and is a big play waiting to happen when the ball is in the air. Very fun player to watch and has the tools to get on the field early.

Ya, Tolliver is a big time recruit. His top two are A&M & LSU but he said Pete Carrol and the Trojans have been calling him lately and they want to come down to see him.

Actually, his best time was 4.47 which is still fast for his size. There were about 10 receivers there that no DB could cover, not just Terrence. Just happens that everyone is on the Terrence bandwagon at the moment. GJ didn't really participate....? Noack from Cuero looked good to me.

How big is Noack? He's pretty short, isn't he?

Noack looks like he has put on about two inches this year. Now around 6'-1".

It has to be just a rumor cuz we would have heard about it from one of the 817 Cuero posters on this board if it was true! ;)
