Thats what i have i was just wondering cause i dont want to get a virus.....on a brand new computer..

I use mine alot not virus yet (Knock on wood), but I make sure and keep my virus protection updated. Limewire will usually worn you that a file is corrupt.

my lil bro has never had any problems with limewire.

heck he even downloaded the limewire pro off of the free limewire.

No problems with limewire here either. I used Ares for a while too, but if i had to pick one i'd go with limewire.

i use limewire...just make sure you have updated virus protection and such because there will be a grip load of spyware come up.

I use Morpheus and Imesh and they are pretty good. I believe as long as you have firewall protection no one can get into your computer to see what you have been doing. I use Norton Antivirus and it works great. Costs 50 bucks a year but its worth it.

I've used Ares for the last year and just recently, as in last week, changed to Limewire and love it. It's just alot easier to operate.

I wasn't too crazy about Limewire when I used it, but it's been quite a while so it might be better now. I'd strongly recommend that you not use Kazaa under any circumstances. That stupid thing did a number on my computer, for sure. I'm using iTunes now.

Do you use a Antivirus? I have never had any problems with Morpheus but that may be because my Antivirus bails me out.

Defineltly use one...there is no telling if you get a virus if you dont use one!And plus its a folder sharing program but Limewire tells you if the file is infected but o well just make sure you use one..
