For those that think 3ADL mods are strict...

go over and try forums.cingular.com. There are mods are SO ANAL it drives me nuts! They will go in and edit your posts constantly. I have like 16 or 17 posts over there in the last week or so and they have edited 5 or 6 of them. These are all pointful discussions that pertain to the topics...nothing crass at all. They allow 1 "off topic" thread to go on...and then they clean it up anytime anybody makes ANY colorful comments. One girl got her post erased saying "blow pop $ucker" when referring to what her husband brought her on their roadtrip the other day. Now if she had said she had...well you get where I'm going with that! :p Anyways...that place frustrates me to no end. It's essentially a place to further advertise their company and take shots at other companies...but nobody else!

It probably had some kind of automatic editor, if a post is made with a "banned" word it is probably automatically deleted. And our mods, well ..... nevermind

Well they have an auto editor that will stop you before you even get to post. I wrote one post with the word "anal" in it and once you hit "submit" it says "the filter has detected blah, blah, blah...please modify your reply and re-submit." The bad part is that it erases your post and makes you re-type it. I was just intially talking about the mods beinf way too particular in modifying perfectly good posts. They even changed a post where I provided a customer with a fair comparison between a Sprint and Cingular rate plan...and they went in and changed some of the Sprint information and make it false. I ripped them a new one for that! Also, if you ask a question such as "hey my phone does this" they will let 3 or 4 people reply and then they will lock the thread and say "you've been given some good responses...this thread is now locked." It's like living in a freakin' communist society over there! :(
