yoakum had a killer non-dist schedule in 2004-2005, they had the team to compete with them in 2004 (2-2) but not in 2005 (0-4).
west columbia, giddings, rice c. , and bellville were all excellent teams and yoakum was beat up before dist. started. talent wise yoakum will be down for the next 2 yrs. but after that they will be back to the level of talent they had the 5 yrs. in a row they made the playoffs. the non dist. teams they schedule for the next 2 yrs. will be closer to yoakum's talent level than the previous 2 yrs. all the games will be competive and yoakum will have to play very good to beat any of these teams. everyone has talent cycles and thats where yoakum is now.
