I continue to be amazed by the outstanding athletic ability of Colin Jones---even if he is from my town's high school. These are some of the the results from the District 7-3A Track Meet. These stats were published on another site and in the "Wise County Messenger", so I believe they are accurate, and I do not know the conditions:

100 - 1. Colin Jones, Bridgeport, 10.39; 2. Ranchview, 10.69; 3. Castleberry, 10.71; 4. Lake Worth, 11.08; 5. Josh Trant, Decatur, 11.13; 6. Joseph Sanchez, Decatur, 11.34

200 - 1. Little Elm, 21.35; 2. Colin Jones, Bridgeport, 21.65; 3. Ranchview, 22.39; 4. Little Elm, 23.05; 5. Castleberry, 23.46; 6. Jacob Maxon, Decatur, 23.95

Colin Jones is 6'1 and 195lbs. He broke my son's 1991 Bridgeport HS 100m school record of 10.67 by over .3.
Congrats to Colin for setting a new school record.

An athlete such as Colin Jones does not come around in 3A very often, and we are proud that he has been a Bridgeport Bull and we look forward to his success at TCU.

That is an impresive time but... the winds were blowing like crazy also being hand timed. Skye Greens 10.19 is impossible without the conditions that were present. Still it is an outstanding feat.
