Rowlett Kid Walks Away From $460K Baseball Contract

I have a lot of respect for that kid. He may have walked away from $460K, but he didn't necessarily walk away from a dream and he said that even after almost nine months he's still content with that decision. He's still taking classes and, apparently, is happier right now than he would've been playing pro ball.

Anyone ever seen Office Space? At the end of the movie, Peter throws away his degree and day-to-day routine in a cubicle to work construction with his neighbor. If you're happier at a Joe Average 9-to-5 type of job than you are in the spotlight, more power to you.
