I guess that's in honor of the fact that the Longhorns played (sort of) the first half of the game. They didn't even show up for the second half. The players were on the field, but their minds were already back in Austin.

You knew it was out of hand when the ABC cameras panned to Bevo in the fourth quarter and Brent Musburger began describing the steer's likely thought processes at that point: "Get me out of here before OU comes over here and makes barbecue out of me!"

I didn't read that in Bevo's eyes at all. He looked just as apathetic as the Longhorn D to me. I don't think either of them would realize they were being barbecued even as the flames began licking about them.

I mean, I don't get it! The best football players in the nation come from the state of Texas, and for the past four years The University of Texas gets 90% of these guys and puts them on one team, so this should be like a "dream team", BUT they go out and lose games 65-13! That's crap!
