Cuero almost finished 1,2,3 in the boys 100... Olguin pulled his hammy leading the pack...

the cuero boys are ranked #1 in state in 2 of the 3 relays in class 3A. Their mile relay is 3rd right now.

Looking at the results of both Dist. 26-3A track and field results and Dist. 20-3A it's very comparible. Take for instance the 4-100 relay for boys, Cuero ran a 41.74 while Hempstead ran a 41.80; Zach Anderson from Columbus ran a 49.84 open 400 and that overshadowed everything in 26-3A; the 100 meters Cuero had the edge as this young kid must be able to fly as Hempstead's Chris Tate ran a 10.59 while Brian Williams from Rice ran a 10.76 and Sealy's Kenneth Jackson, some of the Cuero fans may remember him #30 on the kickoff return, ran a 10.86.
Those two districts would have a very interesting meet and no doubt some will be facing each other at the state meet. Good luck to both.

the kid who didnt finish the 100 in the 26-3A meet, and pulled up with an injured hammy, has run under a 10.45, which was the winning time in 26-3A
