im beginning to think that post counts r over rated....however i'll prolly crack a small smile when i hit 2000, i was a lot more interested in my counts when i hit 100 and 1000 than i am now though....

If they are overrated then get rid of your avatar so you will look like us newcomers.

haha....well i guess i forget about that, so getting to 1500 is a big deal so u get an avatar, but past that i guess it really doesnt matter...

By the time we got the "avatar" feature, I already had way over 1500 post so I have always had an avatar!

The only post count I remember being "memorable" was on the old board where you were a rookie until post #75..then you moved up to VARSITY!!

yes i remember that too....i hated the rookie thing until post 75 and for some reason it took me longer to get to 75 than 1000 it seemed like (prolly not really but thats what i thought)....i guess i didnt really think of the 1500 thing cause i didnt need many post to get an avatar once we switched to that 1500 system, i think it took me longer to figure out how to post an avatar than actually getting the post...

This is true. Here lately I have been reading more in the chatroom than participating as it seems they are always discussing basketball which is my least favorite sport.

The round ball talk is pretty much over now, except for an occasional pro thing. We've had Rock & Roll history, testosterone show, and "survivor" talk recently.
