In two of UT's biggest games it was significant.
We all remember in the Rose Bowl game Vincent Young scored the winning td with 19 seconds left. Then he made the two point extra point conversion to give us a three point lead. Since time doesn't elapse on extra point conversions there was still 19 seconds left in the game.
Against Ohio State we had a 1 point lead with Ohio State having the ball near their own goal line. Aaron Harris tackled the qb giving us a safety for two points and a three point lead with 19 seconds left in the game. On the next play Ohio State tried an onside kick from their 20 and David Thomas immediately fell on it to give us the possession. Because there was no runback the time did not start so there were still 19 seconds left in the game which we easily ran out.
To summarize... a TD, 2 point conversion, safety and onside kick recovery in our two biggests games all with 00.19 left on the clock.
