I think the Hawks are going to be a tough out in the playoffs again.

Since they have had all their team together after basketball, they have lost 3 games. One to Rider (#4 in 4A), another metroplex 5A school in the Kennedale tourney and a pool game in the Midland tourney where they played a lot of reserves. They won a hard fought battle against Breck who has probably one of, if not the top pitcher in 3A, in Heatley.

Anyone want to take a stab at a Region 1 Top 5?

I thought about listing them but I don't know who any of their opponents have been.

The 3 losses were to Santa Fe, Channel View and some REALLY big school from Oklahoma. All are ranked in the top 15 in the polls. or were then at least...

Did Decatur play in a tourney in San Antonio earlier this spring?

The reason I was asking is that Snyder played a 6A school from Oklahoma in a tourney in SA and lost maybe 5-2 or 7-4 something like that. The defense let them down as they had maybe 7 fielding errors in that game.
