By the way...you do realize that gas is cheaper in South Texas than pretty much anywhere else in the country right???

When I passed the Uncles in Greenwood day before yesterday, I noticed it was $2.65 then....my nephew (who works there) told me last night it is going up again.

When I drove past this morning....there wasn't even any prices on the board....it just said $2._ _.

That is like the story that happened at a hospital one night that was very busy with patients coming in from knife bar room fights. The Doctor says to one patient "Sir, you were stabbed eight times and two of the wounds are fatal."
The patient looks down discouraged so the Doctor tells him "Don't feel bad. You are better off than some others. We had one patient that was stabbed eleven times and five of his wounds are fatal."

Last week, there is place on McKinney (uptown Dallas) that was selling it for $2.99. That was when I was filling up for $2.49 here in Midlothian and $2.59 in North Dallas. I bet now that place is up to about $3.25 since it was $2.79 in North Dallas this morning!

How can you have more than 1 fatal wound? Is there a way to measure WHICH wound killed you???

As the former rock star "Sting" once sang back in his prime, "There is no political solution."

Even if there were, there is no way the peons would be allowed to vote for it. Well, they could vote all they want. But they don't get to count the votes.

As Stalin said, "He who casts the vote decides nothing. He who counts the vote decides everything."

Its cheaper to transport the gas around here since most of it is refined so close to home. Also, our lower cost of living can also be thanked for a generally lower price of gas. However, we also make less money, so it all breaks about even. A person here making $8 an hour is paying a proportionate amount of his or her income income toward a gallon of gas as a person who makes $10 an hour is making elsewhere where gas is more expensive.

Simply put, we're all taking it up the for gas. Some are just better able to afford to what is rapidly becoming a luxury.

It's up to $2.70 in Sinton now!!

I don't mind the 4 legged Fat Cats! It's those two legged ones that get these prices up that are annoying.

Haha...from her descriptions of that darn cat, it sounded like it might as well be 500 pounds. Then trying to fork it over on some poor, innocent DownLow member. Shame, Shame, T. ;)
