Hey I was just wondering about some 3-A track best this season in a few catagories:
girls: pole vault, shot, disc, hurdles, 400 relay, and 100. And boys: pole vault, shot, disc and 800 run. Thanks!!!

Remember kids...Chief will tell you that none of these numbers even matter and that they are just a joke. All that matters is Texas Relays (a meet that counts for nothing but tends to have "top talent"), regionals, and the state meet.

Now if all the coaches could learn this and stop wasting their time/money on these other meets...:thinking: :thinking: :thinking:

There is a Monahans girl that ran a 14 flat in the 100 hurdles yesterday in Merkel. From my understanding she has the best time in the state.

I know a kid from Breck got 15' in the Vault yesterday here and Graham. Dan Schmidt threw 171 or so in the discus. IDK if that leads the state or not.

I know this isn't 3A, but I coach at a 2A fixing to be a 1A and I got a kid who can triple jump 45'7".

Thats nothing Clint. He could be part a mile relay team that could sit on the medal stand in Austin, but two of them would rather play baseball. And one of those could have possibly made it in the 300 hurdles.

One of our girls hurt her hamstring so we didn't run in the finals even though we won our heat in both relays.

Hope we can make it back to the state meet again.

Did it ever occur that there may be 2 kids from Bellville that long jump that are of different ethnicities and that this guy simply didn't know the names of either or them but was still trying to contribute some info to the discussion the best way that he knew how? The 3 fastest 4x100 and 4x 200 relays in the region are in our district. Last year all 6 4x100 relays in our dist. would of made the finals at regionals.

i know and it sucks for my kids.

the 4x200 hear consists of 2 from last year a freshman and a 800/miler that is our 4th fastest....needless to say...i doubt we get out.

we dont even have a 4x100.

do you know of anthoer good 4x400 besides stafford who is awsome

Palacios is ok and Needville is ok. We are going to run a 4 x 400 but no telling how good it will be.

We should get the same 5 girls out in a few events. Discus, HJ, LJ,
4x100, 4x200, 100, and 100H.
