That is great news if the game is in Corpus Christi. I go for surgery Monday so since the game is in Corpus Christi I may possibly have a good chance to make it with my doctor's ok. Way to win the coin flip Pirates! Now win the game! :)

Doing some research...
Hondo is a little like West Oso.
Watch out for Overley passing the ball. He can also run from the QB spot. Williams is a good RB who got half(108) the ground yards(218) from the Devine game.
They might not be as good as WO on defense, but they've played a good team or two this year( La Vernia 9-0, undefeated, and Bandera 7-3 play-off team). Devine is a decent team to boot. They won the district title. Sinton should win here, though.

Holy Hanna! I just checked Data Poll and they have Sinton picked by 51! I like Data Poll, but this one's a bit hard to believe.

Aside from a couple of O-lineman, one DE, one LB and one of the safeties, the Hondo Hooters do not seem like they will hang with the Pirates. They almost (and should have) beat Devine for outright district title. Inability to run the ball in the last few minutes of the game and special teams breakdowns kept them from winning that game.

The will have problems with all 3 facets of the game and barring a miracle will go home from Corpus with a 5-6 record. Sinton finally played like they had some fire in their bellies against Mathis and I see this being the norm from now until the end of the playoffs. Congrats to both teams making the playoffs, but it will end ugly for Hondo I fear.
