I wish they wouldn't blow the weekly allotment in one game.

Lance Berkman looks like he's in better shape than the last few years.

Berkman is finally healthy. And it looks like they needed all of those runs after all.

You better win two out of three against the team starting 7 rookies. At this rate we will win one out of 12 against the red birds.

Yah, at "this rate"... this is actually a good thing... last year it seems the maxed out VERY early and then went on the skid...

Have no fear, as the last two years have proven it is all about how you finish the regular season...

Rangers can have the Silver-boot... Astros must have been wearing Golden-boots come playoff time last year... and that's why they play the games...

Actually, I'm looking for the Rangers to do very well in the AL this year, I'll pull for 'em if they're not playin' the 'Stros...

I will take 1 outa 12 if we knock them out in the NLCS again....last year we didnt win but what 3 or 4 against them during the year?....Also, how many rookies did the braves start last year? I'm pretty sure just cause u start 7 rookies doesnt mean you suck...The Marlins are known for having a pretty good farm system at that, look at their last 2 world championships, they won them when the "stars" on their team were nobodies and since they r cheap and wont pay for them they never retain anyone......but that is beside teh point, its the first series of the year, the pitching is normally ahead of the hitting at this point and the fish have some decent pitchers......

So are you saying you would like to bet on the fishes final record?:D

i am saying that you cant bet on the fishes final record because there is no way we can know what they have.....however i wouldnt be surprised if they started slow and ended the year pretty strong, had some superstars emerge, then made a run at the series in the next 2 years....seems to be what they do every 4 or 5 years....

lets hope so.....backe is pitching and had a rough spring due to injuries....if he is healthy again we will prolly be fine, however if he isnt better he will prolly give up a ton of runs, he was hammered in his last 3 starts....
