I am going down to the college station/ Bryan area this weekend to look for some places to live for when i transfer down there next semester. If any of yall know some good deals or have had some good previous experiences with a place out there I would be soooo grateful if you would let me know. Thank yall very much!!

What's your price range?

IMO, the duplexes across the street from Wolf Pen Creek Park are the best deals I've come across. Most are 3/2, around 1200 sq. ft., open floor plan, come with washer and dryer, and range in price anywhere from $900/mo to $1000/month. Plus, since you're living in a college neighborhood, there's less of a chance of neighbors complaining.

That's where I lived my first two years up here. Then I lost a roommate, had to find a 2-bedroom.

If you're looking for apartments, check out Sterling. I've never been a huge fan of apartments, but they seem to be a good deal for a mid-range apartment ($300-$375 a month for a three bedroom is what I consider "mid-range). If you want something a little cheaper or closer to Northgate :D, but that's still nice check out Country Place Apartments. I have a couple of friends that live there, both have two-bedroom apartments. If I remember correctly, they run in the $650-$700 a month range for a two bedroom. You could probably get a three-bedroom (if they have them) for less than $900 a month.

Geez I need a job there...I am paying over $700/month for a 1 bedroom to live inside 635 just off of 75. It's pretty spacious with 688 sq ft plus a 120 sq ft patio...more than enough space for me considering my place in Abilene was about 600 sq ft with TWO people living in it!!! If you go down into Uptown area they START at $1100 for about 600/650 sq ft!!!
