King Kong

Bought the "King Kong" DVD last night. Put it on and turned it off after about 2.5 hours. I thought the acting was mediocre at best, the story line was "horrible" and unbelievable ,the special effects were great but not great enough to make up for all the other shortcomings. The 34' original version of "King Kong" is still the best in my book. Guess I'm just an "OF" when it comes to modern movies.

I'm beginning to think Hollywierd is running out of original ideas. I haven't seen any remakes that impressed me all that much. The originals are always better with the only exception being the special effects available these days.
