The University Interscholastic League this week announced its biennial soccer realignment for Texas’ public schools. Decatur, which is starting boys and girls programs in the fall, was placed in District 4-4A along with Burkburnett, Denison, Sherman, Gainesville, Wichita Falls, Wichita Falls Hirschi and Wichita Falls Rider. Decatur is one of only three Class 3A high schools in north and central Texas to offer soccer so those programs play at the 4A level. Soccer season begins in December and games are played January through March.

This will be Decaturs first soccer program!

Gainesville has made the playoffs the past 4 seasons in 4A..

When WF Rider comes to town, go watch them! they are always a top 10 team, should be a competitive district!
