Does anyone know when a more accurate poll will come out? We've already spun a thread on this one. How about the coaches all-state teams?

I believe the the coaches all-state teams will come out in a couple of weeks. I am sure there will be unhappy people with that one also.

I doubt it!

I hope the coaches All-State team is more realistic. The 2nd Team OL from BC is actually 5'10" 190lbs. I know that sometimes the sizes are a bit embelished, but 3" and 35lbs.? It is also obvious that the sports writers did not even bother to watch game film before they voted. I know they can't see every game but at least try for an educated guess. There are two big OL's at BC that did not even get a mention. I'm not saying that they should or should not be mentioned, but if the kid from BC that made 2nd team is mentioned then these two (6'3" 295lbs. and 6'-2" 265lbs.[realisticly])should have been 1st Team. BC made it to the State Semifinals; Therefore, I was fortunate enough to see other quality teams and players in the playoffs. I know that there are other players that should be mentioned that were snubbed by the political AP Team. I guess it will show when the real players get scholarships and the others don't.

Good to have you back 3ARoy! Great season Newton!

It is good to be back on here. The loss to Giddings was a hard one to take, but those kinda things happen. Giddings had a great team. This was a great football season, and I am more than ready for next year. I am enjoying getting ready for it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

It's funny, the only underclassmen Offensive Linemen to get first team is the biggest linemen on the list... Go Cody!!!
