We all like to pick the "winners" of football games, why not this contest? Here are the current "odds" as I see em', and later as events occur we can "adjust" our picks. Everybody feel free to comment or post their own "odds".

I think you should also set into place an "over/under" line of how what place any particular person will finish in. That will give us something to wager on...not that anybody would do that on the DL or anything...

now now...why would I want to do such a thing? Though if you were a part of the game...that might be another way to get somebody "off the island"

ok - would someone take pity on a poor grandmother and explain how the odds work? :D I understand 2 to 1- but how does the other stuff work? **meaning 8/5 type things

If 2:1 means that for every dollar you bet you win 2 (your initial bet plus 1 more in return)...then 8:5 is for ever 5 you bet you win 8 (your intial bet plus 3 more in return). 8:5 = 1.6:1...they just don't reduce the ratios down if it doesn't give a whole number against the 1. Does that make sense?

I got your back, Bull. If it was a "real" line, wouldn't the odds add up to 1/1 anyways? You'd be losing money... and nobody except the Donald is into losing money. :D :D :D

Any takers on that 3/1 for me? I'll bet against you.:p

I'm sure not an expert 44INARow, but I'll try. The equivalent of 2/1 would be 10/2= 2/1, so 8/5 is slightly better than 2/1. You did notice the "scientific" system I employed to come up with those odds? I'm sure some of these posters will put mine to "shame".

No. Look at any sporting line and you will see that they don't add up to 100%.

BDR--those odds were pulled out of my "head" in about 1.5 mins. just for "fun". I'm sure some of the other posters can be a lot more accurate from a statistical standpoint if they want.

I'm thinking Adidas and 04 are probably the favorites. Adidas will just be a tough out and 04 just kinda "does his thing" and doesn't really get in anybody's way.
