I'm sure that we (well yall since I don't have cable until tomorrow) will find out soon enough from ESPN...but has this ever happened since the bracket expanded to 64 teams??

Texas, U-Conn, Villanova, and Memphis all lost and they wore white uniforms...what a coincidence...
I want to see a bracket with GM in the final 4...

believe they said it was 1980 that a #1 seed was not in final 4

Yeah. I wonder when the last time was that the higher seed lost every game in a given round (hence the white unis).

I heard yesterday that ESPN.com had something like 300 million brackets filled out and not one of them had this exact scenario picked. So we know a year this crazy will probably NEVER happen again as the odds are what? 300,000,000 to 1? Look at all those 0's and tell me this ain't nuts.

i dunno if it is that improbable...the last time an 11 got in the final 4 was 20 years ago and in 80 was the last time and apparantly only time that tehre was no number 1 seeds in teh final 4....the parity in college hoops is getting a lot better and w/ the big names leaving after a year or 2 to the NBA i think years like this will become more common.....u literally have guys that have played together 3 or 4 years that r pretty talented vs. guys that are extremely talented yet only had 2 years together in most cases, in that situation u r gonna have a team or 2 that have those 3 or 4 year guys that play great together and with the right coach they can shock a lotta people....

I only filled out one bracket and I have LSU and Florida in the finals but I had them both losing to Illinois and Kansas.

they also said that nobody even got it right up to the sweet sixteen!!!

Bradley, George Mason, Wichita St., all messed it up.

It just shows that maybe NCAA Men's basketball has now got competitive so that anything can happen but we will have to see if this is the thread. Too bad NCAA Women's basketball isn't as competitive. It looks like the same ole Tennessee, UCON and Duke will be fighting it out again.

This is the first time since the field expanded to it's current 64-team format that no #1 seeds have made the Final Four.

There is ONE on yahoo that had it picked right
http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/men/1143123/viewbracket?rid=0

Everyone else in the top 10 on yahoo has UCONN instead of GMU in.

I wonder how many of the people that guessed it right actually thought that was gonna happen, or they just made 15 brackets and got lucky on one.
