Just watched Sinton's Mike Adams relieve in the 8th for the Brewers against the Rangers (3 batters=3 outs). Good to see Mike back in the Big Leagues. A good sign if he's still with the Brewers at this time in spring training. Good Luck, Mike!

FYI - Mike was on Sinton's 3A State Basketball Championship team and went to TAMUK on a basketball scholarship but switched to baseball about half way through and then worked his way through the Brewer minor league system (undrafted) to the Brewers a couple of years ago. Spent last year at Nashville and hopefully back with Milwaukee for a while!

Mike's younger brother Jason pitched the 3A championsip games in 2001 and 2002. Won it in 2001, and lost it in 2002 on one throwing error by our third baseman.

Jason was the '01 State MVP, wasn't he?

If memory serves me, I believe he was.

AA pitched both the semi-final games in 01 & 02 (we had to win each semi to get to the finals!!!), so Jason got to pitch both years finals. AYN, we won the state championship in 01 and, as you said, lost in the finals on a error in 02. Jason was MVP in 01 and I'm sure he would have been again if we had won in 02. That's baseball and why you play the game!!!!
