LSU is the lowest seed to make it to the final four an 11 in like 1986. Yes it was Nova over Georgetown Nova was an 8

nit picking or not, it's still a violation and should be called weather it's the 1st quarter or the 4th quarter.

awsome may be history in the makeing then you know that makes the selection committee feel real good when their seeding dosent work(assuming they seed the teams)

they make the seeding, but it is basicaly more who makes it in the tourney, cause w/ college once u play a game anything can happen....they give 1's the easiest road but that doenst necessarily mean they r gonna make it....its more imp. the committee gets the right teams in to me atleast than the perfect seeding....prolly about 90% of the sports world said that George Mason didn't belong in the tourneywhen the brackets came out esp. over Hofstra who beat them twice in teh last month of the season and Mizzou State (i think that was the school) that had the highest RPI ever to not make the tourney, but for once i feel comfortable saying the committee knew what they were doing....

plus this is the stuff that makes college athletics great, you never know what is gonna happen but on any given day anyone can win...

sry....i was wrong they said during the game it happened in '80, i dunno about any other times.....the 7 number is probably wrong too, i think my source was in the past 20 years or so not all time.....my bad
