First off, I dont think Johnny Paycheck can throw anywhere near 90, nor can he hit off anyone throwing a baseball that hard, nor could he hit Big Cat or Jennie Finch.

I know I cant do either but I dont profess that Baseball is superior to softball.

Jeanie Finch the great softball pitcher has struck out some major league hitters when they tried to hit her softball pitch. Say maybe that is why we did so bad at the WBS - ok never mind.

Sorry to say that johnnypaycheck is about like the rest of the idiots in roughneck county that don't go out and support their softball team who was in the state finals last year and are 19-1 right now. For those who support the lady necks the entire year, you don't need the bandwagoners. I'll be so glad when i finally sell my house in the lakes so i don't have to go back down there. Give the girls their respect.

Snyder won their last non district game 10-0 by ten run rule. They played Anson and I would have been surprised if the outcome was any different.

In order to add some of my light to the baseball-softball issue I'll have to go back a few years. I played baseball in high school and quite a bit of sandlott hard ball after graduation. One day the Old-Man who managed our team asked us if we wanted to play some softball as several of the teams from the Houston area would like to schedule some mid-week games so they would stay fresh for the weekend tournaments they were playing in. We all agreed thinking anyone could hit that big old ball. I played center field and was the leadoff batter and was never so surprised in my life. That big ball came in there so fast and had so much stuff on it I just couldn't believe it. I'd seen a lot of curves, sliders and sinkers while playing hardball, but never before a ball that would rise as much as I did that night. Because of the distance, it took a total different approach to even get a bat on the ball. I don't think I ever got a swinging hit in softball but did manage a few bunt singles. Both games are great but don't anyone ever underestimate the ability softball requires.
