I dont think Sinton got any. i think it's because i mentioned that i hoped my date wouldnt get rained out Saturday. All farmers, please blame me.

Last night was the first time in years that the news didn't show here, only weather. The winds & hail that went through south and southwest of here were pretty rough from what they said, winds breaking 10-15 ft branches (6-8" diameter) & hail 2" in some areas.

we may have gotten a whooping hard sprinkle out of it...1/10 of a inch, I bet...if we got any more, I would be surprised...what's it take to get a rain...

I got 1" 3/10ths at my house. We still need alot more to get any in the dry lakes, but at least its a start. I bet I'll be mowing by the end of the week. At least the ground got a good soaking. I know my house foundation really needed it.

I drove through that last night coming in from Dallas to Austin at around 10pm-midnight. It was absolutely nuts. Rain was coming sideways, and the traffic was bumper to bumper, going about 45 mph, for TWO hours. It was pure exhaustion. I guess it was good we got the rain though.

Last week in Corpus at a drought meeting a meterologist from NOAA said it might rain in South Texas March 30 or 31st and it would not rain again till July. But the drought will be broken by one of five hurricanes that will hit the Texas coast later this summer.
