Having knee surgery tomorrow guys!! Pray for me. I thought it was pretty routine until I read the Timberview story. Scary!!

Good luck! Those kind of deaths are very rare maybe 1 in a million even though it is no consolation to the one that it hits but the odds are very high in your favor. Plus it is amazing what they can do nowadays in the medical field. Things that they couldn't do even ten years ago.

I do not mean to "trivialize" a surgical procedure, but surgery is like road construction---the inconvenience and pain is temporary....the improvement is permanent. Best of Luck, KA--I pray all goes well.

Well, Im at home and in little pain. I went out to lunch today and got around as much as possible. On crutches and have watched about 30 movies at home! HEHE

When I had surgery on my ankle I had to give myself a shot on my stomach every morning. It was to deter any blood clots. God I hated that dang shot. Small needle but it hurt like heck. Hope ya get well soon. Makes you realize just how important your legs are, doesn't it?!
