So far for the Whitesboro AD/FB head coach job at whitesboro according to a good source in whitesboro.. a decision wont be made for 3-4 weeks tho.. GA Moore... and Mark Copeland x-Gainesville and Carrolton newman smith coach.. and Bill Elloitt offensive coordinator from Celina among others have applied..:thinking:

Interesting that GA Moore and Bill Elliot both applied. Bill Elliot used to be a player under GA Moore at Pilot Point in the early 80's.

Has Ga Moore gone before the UIL yet? I think he has to before he can coach again.

Is this a really good idea for him? This is how it goes; Ga Moore moves to whitesboro, and coincedently so do 10 all state players because there dad had a better job oportunity.

Someone told me that Copeland moved to Arkansas and is out of the coaching business now.. and as for GA Moore going to whitesboro, I don't think he is that senile yet..

Because no one has ever succeeded at Whitesboro. I know GA's history but Whitesboro is alot to take on. Its not like he would be jumping in at Celina or Pilot Point.

But, just think about the reward. He already will go down as one of the greatest high school coaches of all time, now if he was to take over at Whitesboro and do the impossible, taking them to the playoffs....:thinking: Sounds like the man wants a real challenge. Good luck to whomever gets it

Hello copleland did not move to arkansas.. he is in area and was at the gainesville playoff games this year.. a board member told ne there is two coaches from Celina that has put in for the job also.. they have got alot of appicants and a decision will be made in april

Coach Robinson already just got a head job in dallas .. cant remember which high school tho.. and where is Mike Russell.. is he gonna put in for the whiterboro job?

you don't want russell for sure. whitesboro would be in worse shape with russell than if rupert would of stayed. copeland had more talent his last year than cordell had his first year, he just didn't know how to use it.

GA already went in front of the UIL and they didn't find anything wrong to where he couldn't coach again.
