We are going to Sweeny I hope we don't have to many teams. We ran 42.3 last week and got 3rd in the 4x100. This meet could be fast.

While I'll admit Cuero has a very good track team, I wouldn't go so far as to say they are GOD :) (just giving you a hard time)

by the way, did you go to the State Track Meet last year? We sat near a bunch of Sweetwater folks

Talked to a guy from there last night, Word I hear is there will be some heat in Sweeny. They said in the 4x100 there were 9 teams that have run under 42.8, 8 teams run at or under 1:30 in the 4x200.. 9 Teams under 3:29 4x400....If you run a 11.0 100m you might not make the finals. 22.8 200m you will not make the finals.

I LOVE MEETS LIKE THIS....BRING IT OR DON'T GET OFF THE BUS.

I did hear we will not be sending anyone to the Texas Relays. Our district track meet is on the following Tuesday. They don't want anybody with dead legs.

I guess the state will have to wait until the state track meet to see the Gobblers run.

Looking like Jamelka is on track to make it to state. 38.93 in the 300IH last week. That's getting where you need to be.
