Do You Have All of your #1 Seeds Going to the Sweet 16???

A nice little random fact...since the NCAA expanded to 64 teams, in every ODD year (2005, 2003, 2001, etc)all four #1 seeds have advanced to at least the Round of 16. However, in every EVEN year (2004, 2002, 2000, etc) at least one of the #1's has lost in the Round of 32. Glad I found this out AFTER I made my brackets!!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

And, I don't remember a year in which all of the #1 seeds all made it to the final four, either, adidas.

A 16-seed has never beaten a 1-seed in the history of the NCAA.

It's never happened. (All #1's making it to the FF.)
