Last Year: 11-3 Region 1 Div 1 Champion, State Semi-Finalist
Starters Returning: 5 offensive, 5 defensive
Key Players: DB Caleb Campbell, DE Brad Kile, QB Bo Merrell
Matthew328's outlook: The Rangers are beginning to become a power in the panhandle and last year was their breakout year as they surprised most of the state by winning the region, they did it with a great defense and big plays on offense..of the 5 returning starters all 5 were key components of that defense which should be strong...on offense the backfield that produced many of those big plays is gone including QB Cuyler Dear..Merrell has big shoes to fill but he has one big play man returning in Campbell who made some big catches last year..Kile is also a good kicker and could help the Rangers in close games...look for Perryton's defense to carry them early on, and if the offense comes around they will be dangerous again this year..the likely move to Division 2 will also help as well..
